MotoFino was founded by Tom Simpson in 2003.  His mission was simple: provide to American customers the very best motor scooter at an extremely modest price.  Mr. Simpson foresaw the need for inexpensive transportation in the US and went about to solve the problem.  The manufacturing of motor scooters in the US had virtually ceased because of the high costs.  But by setting up our own factories in low labor cost countries, manufacturing costs could be greatly reduced. 

Since Mr. Simpson was born and raised in China, he was familiar with the customs and could speak the language.  It was only natural that he took his manufacturing expertise to the hard working people of China and set up the MotoFino factories.  This is the genesis of the MotoFino story as it is operating today.

Mr. Simpson is a well known native of Georgia where he operated and managed 8 manufacturing assembly plants in 6 different states for 22 years, where he was also very active in civic matters.

This ultimately resulted in a decision to run as a candidate for the Republican Party for the 10th district of the United States House of Representatives in Washington D.C.

Luckily for MotoFino USA, Inc., Mr. Simpson decided to utilize his mechanical automotive certifications from Ford and International Harvester as well as his degree in Economics and Finance from the Augusta State University while President of MotoFino USA, Inc,
